Title: How to make studded bodies
Post by: Freestuffyay on February 17, 2015, 05:43:15 pm
Hi there!

This is my first ever guide and today I will teach you how to make studded bodies.

Why studded bodies? Studded bodies are used a lot by 1 defence pures because they give some defence bonus whilst only having a level 1 defence requirement. Studded bodies can be sold for 50-70k each depending on your buyer.

First off here are the required requirements:
Active membership (new players get 10 days for free)
Level 30 Mining
Level 36 Smithing
Level 41 Crafting

Level 30 mining is needed to mine iron and coal ores, smelting a steel bar requires 30 smithing, one iron ore and one coal ore.
Coal and iron ores can be mined at the Falador mining guild:

Level 36 smithing is required to craft steel studs which requires one steel bar:

Level 41 crafting is required to craft leather bodies and applying the steel studs on the leather body. Crafting leather bodies requires 3 soft leathers, to obtain soft leathers it is suggested to kill cows at the cows field in lumbridge:

After getting some cowhides go to the tanner in Al-Kharid and tan your hides for 1 gp each:

After tanning your hides you will need a needle and thread to craft a leather body, go to the crafting shop in Al-Kharid and buy some thread and a needle.

After that use a needle on the soft leather and craft a leather body:

And the final step which requires 41 crafting is applying the steel studs on the leather body to create a studded body.

Step by step:
Step one: Obtain steel bars
Step two: Smith steel studs
Step three: Obtain cowhides and tan them to soft leather
Step four: Craft a leather body
Step five: Apply the steel studs to the leather body

Thank you for reading my guide if you have any feedback please tell me.

I personally think of this guide as spam as it's not really neccesary but since it's your first guide, good job.
Could work more with organizing the aspects, cropping the images in a more decent way would make the content look professional. < You're a wiki contributor, I expect you to have this kind of knownledge. :)

Good information though, good luck on future guides. ;)

I made this guide because not many people know you can actually make studded bodies.
