question isnt there a way to possibly range them if so can u including what the armor/spot would be to range

I assume you mean a way to safe spot range them? If so, then yes there are a few current ways you can do that, one of them is done at the second Mithril dragon location in Cathebury. I've seen people safe spot them at Brimhaven dungeon but I'll have to try it myself before I can add anything to my guide explaining how to do it.
