I think those pet are worth over 1B if you ask me.

Spirit shields have much more use than a pet. Besides Corp is extremely hard to solo, whereas you could get plenty of solo kills in one trip at Krill. Plus, you're risking your items whilst travelling to Corp considering the journey there is in the wilderness.

Corp is actually easier than the GWD bosses. Walking to corp also takes less than and requires no KC.
