Weaponry and Armor stats bonuses

In sb, today we argued a lot about whip, dragon darts, shield-slot armor.
Hereby, I want it to make a topic for this discussion, so we don't spam away, what's necessary.
Feel free to post any topic-related about weapons DPS and etc.

For instance, I think Saradomin Sword is a bit overpower judging only from dps perspective against Whip and Arcane spirit shield. Perhaps, adding perks to arcane, or slight nerf on SS could be great?

Sara sword shouldn't get nerfed. Spirit shields should get a complete rework imo.
