Hey guys,
It wasn't officially announced yet, but we're looking for an official trailer for our front page. (http://emps-world.net/) In general we want to make our frontpage more appealing, so that new players get a good first impression of the site! I'll be totally honest, the current page's index is just crap! ;)
I would like to have a trailer on the front page again. Though, my video skills are horrible. So we could let the community make a trailer? Or even a bunch of videos that are randomly displayed on the front page, to give it a nice variation?
I'd surely show myself generous for all videos that we used. All in all I want to have a little discussion here before we move to the final step that opens a trailer competition.

EDIT: The front page was renewed. It now has a gallery showing some of our screenshots. Thanks for the input so far!

Yes. We already have a ton of images in the media page (http://emps-world.net/media) that could be used. I have nothing against a video either as long as it looks clean and professional.

I prefer this than a poorly edited video.
Even the old trailer was trashy, in my personal opinion.

i have seen bounce clan's old videos and i can say they are really well done so it would be nice of the people who made these to make us a trailer, i am sure they can turn out really good. check them here

mhmm really? that is a let down :-\ but i think emps community still has many gifted people, and imo a picture does not have the same effect as the video, so we need one.

Adding a small video of all maxed players while doing emotes to the tralier , would be amazing :)

Some of those vids are good, but the 'unregistered hypercam 3' bugs me a bit. An official trailer shouldn't have that IMO :P
I know a guy with somewhat good video editing skills, not suggesting that he will do it, but what do you guys think should be in the video?
We might as well start posting suggestions even though we don't have an editor yet :)
