Hello there fellow emps player! Do you like questing too? Do you think this game lacks of quests? Then this may be the opportunity for you to write a story that may or may not be implemented into the game!
So pretty much I've been learning emps-script for a bit. I have an idea for a quest but want to make more than one quest of course. So this is where you come in, you can suggest a storyline down below as a reply to this topic or send me a word document with the story and conversations in my pm and I'll try to code it into a quest. I'm still learning so it will take a while to make the quests. Ofcourse i'm also not the only one who decides what quest gets implemented into the game and which doesn't. So if the quest is done it it looks somewhat decent i'll send it to Thomy so he can review it. He will have the final decision if it's any good or not. This will not be a guarantee that your quest will be added to the game. I just want to learn emps-script more and want to take some pressure of Thomy so he doesn't have to make them. (since they are a bit of work and have a low gameplay/time-value.)
Pretty much summed up what i need:
storyline
characters/npc's involved in the story (can also be npc's that aren't ing yet)
dialogue (this can be rough sketches, i'll rework it to its final form)
rewards
items used in the quest (again can be items that aren't ing yet, will be quest item so it won't have any major effect on the game)
So now that you know the concept of what i'm trying to do. Start writing!

Player: With what?
Shenven: The monsters are taking over emps-world, I need your help slaying all of them.
Player: I'm going for 200m slayer exp. Slayer is my favorite skill in the game, and noone has gotten 200m exp in it before.

Shenven: So you're going to help me or not?

My suggestion to you would be recreating some simple OSRS quests with Emps-Script, would be great IMO.

So far I agree with Crusher123's opinion. You could edit further if you were to see that some parts of quest not fitting ing as it should.

Maybe go for the classic quests from runescape such as dragon slayer and desert treasue.
Quest are in my opinion the key to keeping new players around, gives you a sense of direction after completing the tutorial.

I've been working on a cook's assistance quest. It's a bit of a spinoff since i didn't want to make an exact copy. Made it with another story, hope it's finished before february 14th.

Highly reccomend this one , complexity of this quest makes the reward extremely accurate .
