I played emps-scape all back in the day and was devastated when it shut down...but after receiving and email telling me it was back, i instantly hopped back on. I did receive my veteran pack, but a full rune set for a lvl 119 isnt much. Could someone give me a rundown with what's changed since the last time I played/a good way to get better gear ASAP? Thanks and good to be back

Do what I did;
Firstly, train at Blue Dragons to get D Bones and sell them.
Then, when you have some reasonable PvM gear, go to a higher levelled Dragon spot and start doing the same thing but always pick up the Dragon items.

It will be slow at first but worth the effort.

Not much has changed. Only a few new NPCs (3rd age armour = Revenants, PvP armour = Spectres)
If you actually start playing you will recognise most of the gameplay

As for good/decent gear.. Fighter Torso and Dragon Defender from Warriors' Guild,

Maybe mine Shooting star (check wiki) and maybe you will get lucky and get an onyx (fury, stone)

As for other items (nezzy, whip, boots, legs(dragon?)), you could collect some skilling stuff (herb stuff, fishes, coal) and buy the items, which are rather cheap too.

Pest Control for Void (you can pick it up even if you die with it now)

Gather some money more, buy yourself a member ticket and start PvMing

As for me, once I got my rune gear done I went dragons to get dragon stuff, it took some time to get scim and dd, then slayer tower and so on...but meh that was hard, so if you want, you can pm me ing and I'll donate you a good starting gear

Quick note: Staking is an entirely valid method of moneymaking, but you run the risk of.. well.. not making anything and having to start over. Proceed with caution in that area.

Dagganoths. They are fairly easy, and drop bones (8-10k each) and berserker helms (200k each) and high herbs, which you can usually sell for 10k each. Even if you can't kill them, you can loot high herbs usually, since most people leave them on the ground in favor of bones.
