ill make it clear for you both hastas are slower than whips so each of them has an advantage also the success rate of the 25 is 1/25 hit

Has the hasta been buffed since it was released? This is from the inital release post.

A new custom model: Dragon hasta. It's dropped by Bronze, Iron, Steel dragons and the King black dragon, and requires 70 attack to wield. It has the same strength as a whip. Moreover, you now find all requirements for every hasta in the attack level interface. A hasta has the attack speed of a dragon scimitar/whip and is also one-handed.

It's still has the same stats.

Accuracy might be better on whip tho, also the price range won't allow everyone to obtain hasta, but still good info
