First of all, You need to wear Astral Tiara so you can be able to smelt them in the furance then to have the rune essences in the inventory, It requires to have 4 rune essences to make an astral rune in addition to 60+ RuneCrafting level.

I doubt that this will help but doing Barrows gives you a lot of runes, Astral Runes included. I assume that you're a skiller so Esam121 has the right method for you.

You need: Staff of Fire , any pickaxe, nature runes , and astral tiara.
Also, your magic level must be at least 43, to use ' Superheat Item '.

That's for if you want to cast that spell. It's faster, but if you don't have the nessecary equipment there's always furnaces. There's one in Falador and another in Varrock. They also require membership.
