A 1v1 tournament would be awesome. Either 2/3 or 3/5. Gbs could be a possibility. This might bring some life back into PvP.

team pk tournament. 5 guys per team and 1v1 against another team.. winner continues and losers go home

24 players, only allowed to take tools with them, last man standing wins.
The 24 players would be in a cc, so if they can't find eachother they can suggest a location to meet.

This system sort of puts those with low fletching/smithing/fishing/cooking/etc at a disadvantage. But it'd still be a ton of fun.

It's the hunger games, people that lack survivability skills tend to die quicker.
