spectrals are pretty overpowered at the moment, you can't safespot them so they deal both melee and magic attacks. They heal off the melee attacks and they have a shitload of hp.

I kill them with maxed gear/stats/fully potted yet I have to eat 6-7 times a kill

Freeze with ice barrage and attack with blood barrage. Ez massive number of kills per trip until a PKer comes, which happens pretty much never nowadays. They're probably the best money maker in the game atm PvM-wise.

Melee and range get faster kill times if you dont find more frequent banking trips a problem. You can tank the melee attacks pretty well with third-age melee + DFS. Just prot against mage.

if you use blood barrage + ice barrage, you spend around 50% of the money that you make on supplies, and that's even if you're lucky with the drops you get, which makes them far from the best money maker in the game pvm wise.

Runes are cheap as all hell at the moment and using high level staves such as Staff of Light example has a 35% chance of saving runes on cast. If blood barrage is too expensive, Rod can be used instead at around 300 gp a cast.

The Ancient armor drops aren't rare at all, and picking the coin, potion, herb, supply and rune drops as you use your supplies and free up inventory space will actually pay back for the runes used.
