Welcome to the Hunt of the Strangers!

Martin (https://emps-world.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=5669) has decided to bring something new to Emps-World players with his new innovative event, where he forces you to spend hours on useless running amongst the lands of Emps-World. You will probably just waste your time and win absolutely nothing, but for the ones with no real life, there is a chance to be rewarded.
We will be re-releasing one pair of Bunny Ears (https://emps-world.net/wiki/Bunny_ears) and a Bow-Sword (https://emps-world.net/wiki/Bow-sword). In addition to that, we will be giving out some Mystery Boxes (https://emps-world.net/wiki/Mystery_box) and Event Tickets (https://emps-world.net/wiki/Event_ticket).

The event:
It is a "Hide and Seek" based event, but instead of finding the hosts, you will have to find NPC-s.
10 unique NPC-s will be hidden in the accessible areas of Emps map, this includes any floors of all accessible buildings, dungeons, wilderness, member areas etc. Some of the spots require thinking outside the box.

All you have to do is find the NPCs and post a picture with them into this topic.
First person to post a picture of that certain NPC, will get its reward (1 winner per NPC).

A list of the NPC-s and their rewards will be posted below.

Rules/requirements:

Every Emps player can join. This includes Staff members.
- Magecrune is only allowed to participate in the Oldschool NPC rounds, since only Martin knows their locations.
- Ironmen can participate, however if they win, mystery boxes and/or oldschool rares will be given to their non-ironmen accounts. Event tickets can be received on ironmen accounts.
The screenshots must be posted in this topic.
Full client must be shown in the pictures.
Both your name and the NPC model have to be clearly visible in the picture.
The NPC-s are all in accessible areas, so the pictures must be taken right next to them.
Pictures must be unedited.
Do not modify/edit your post.
- If ignored, we will be using the timestamp of the last edit, which can lose you the first place.
If you find multiple NPC-s, you will have to post in the topic each time. Do not edit previous posts!
You can post pictures by just posting their URL-s, but we recommend to use IMG tags instead.
Rewards will be given out when all 10 of the NPC-s have been found.

wasnt really crying , just saying when there were 2 bunnys people were like "omk niicee,so cool, u veri rich, gib items", now that there are like 3 bunnys people are "oki bunnys, gib items". :kappa:

anyhow i like the idea itself , but why not bring back more rares such as basket of eggs or so? ??? :o

4-5 PM GMT is usually the time when our playercount is the highest, so why shouldn't we schedule events to such timeslots?
I'm sorry but we can't please everybody. There will always be people who are at a disadvantage due to timezones.

The npcs will be spawned and they will remain there until every single last one of them is found, you can all still participate, there is no hope to find all the hidden npcs for 2-3 days at least.

Instead of looking for npc around the map, you have to dig in set coordinates to find the items.

A question :

Does the look of the NPC has something to do with their location? For example, Queen of Ice can only be found in snowy/icy landscapes?
Or has every NPC a random location?

4. Just the client, everything else is unnecessary. Tip: Use Alt+PrtScn, it copies just the open window.

I have my own way to deal with him :) he will likely not win one, and we made a deal that if he finds one, he won't be looking for the second one.

If you think about it, the map is huge, so knowing 8 small places means absolutely nothing.
This doesn't exclude any of the areas, they can still be used.

You guys have a higher chance of actually finding anything :)

If the hidden NPCS are not found within the 24H of the initial event release time, the event will be reset and only the people who found the mystery box ones will be rewarded, rares will be added to the next one. Just to give everyone a fair chance at rares and make the game more interesting.

Let me rephrase. At first you didn't think all the NPC's would be found within 2-3 days. To refresh your memory;

It was announced that nobody will get their olds before all of them have been found, only thing that was changed is that we added a time limit to speed things up and not let it be in the air.

Purple arrow shows the entrance to a dungeon.
Blue arrow shows a shortcut or a ladder/entrance/gate etc within the same area.
Yellow arrow shows where the NPC was positioned.
Green arrow shows a nearby teleport location.

The NPC-s will stay in their spots for a week, so if you didn't find them during the event, you can find still look them up.
