Not anymore. We still hold a large amount of the burden, however, China has surpassed us and now holds the position of the Largest Economy in the world.

This right here, the Chinese government pumps billions of dollars into the US to keep the global market from crashing.

A smaller sized volcano in Iceland erupted in 2010, and covered a large amount of Europe, which you can see here:

That had no major influence world wide; it simply grounded our air traffic for a while, mainly to avoid abrasion.

If a the entire Yellowstone volcano would have erupted humanity would indeed struggle, but it would most likely survive. Volcanoes has erupted before such as Tambora, where they experienced red skies from the molten rock in the atmosphere and bad crop growth due to the lack of sunlight; food shortage would be a major issue. Since we have food stored we would survive through the years with the skies covered with molten rock, but only after reserving the food for certain groups of people.

Fun-fact. We would get one positive thing out of it; a major volcanic eruption would actually dampen the effects of global warming

kinda, it erupts ever x amount of years (forgot how many years hhehe) and atm it's overtime.
It's still stable but it can errupt anytime soon

Yellow stone had 3  big eruption that are known , each happened within +-600.000years.
according to this information yellow stone can errupt soon.
Ofc you see that the time stamps between the eruption are insanely big and that it can't be accurate .

That's not the point I was making, but alright. Also, Global Warming is a myth. It's hit MAYBE 20 degrees Fahrenheit where I am. It doesn't usually get as cold as it did her, and it's been this cold for a while.

While global warming is just a myth, the widespread agreement and test results among most has the global warming myth proven to make sense.
