Honestly i can say NO
You don't have to be muslim to be a good person
I have a friend irl who is not muslim, but he is way too nice and kind to his friends.. hes christian btw.
For example
If you give money to the poor, and repeating it from time to time, That makes you a good person cause you are helping someone else, if you give food to the orphan, poor etc etc and keep doing it between time to time, that makes you a good person :P

I guess we have 6 billions bad people around then ( i am enjoying my time being one of em lol )
I don't really know what religion has to do with being a good person or not, I am pretty sure the religion guy whose i saw few days ago in tv asking Muslims to kill people that has difference religion so they can enjoy heaven is not a good person at all, otherwise we are fucked.
