Title: Problem #39
Post by: Drugs on June 27, 2015, 10:15:36 pm
It's good to be back in this thread.
For my probleem #39 I have this gem:

My mouse (logitechM500) has hung itself with it's own usb cord. It's not a joke.
I saw signs of it when I played a fine game of counter strike yesterday, that shit mouse stopped working properly e.g NOT going up/down when I moved mouse up and down. It sorta just had fucked up movement but I could still move it left and right.
I kinda fixed it, with sending my mouse to therapy. I mean changing the usb socket. After I changed the socket it worked perfectly. Untill the next day, I changed it back to the socket it didn't work at. AND YOU KNOW WHAT, IT WORKED, AND IT WORKED LIKE IT HAS NEVER WORKED BEFORE.

fast forward few days changing the usb sockets to get my mouse to work. I WAS PLAYING A FINE GAME OF COUNTERSTRIKE AGAIN. we were losing a game 14-2 which is a good piece of information. MY MOUSE REFUSED TO MOVE WHERE I MOVED IT. I pointed up it went left, etc etc. I tried to change usb sockets like 4 times and none of that shit worked anymore. My mouse refused to work for me, NO MORE HE SAID.

My drivers are up2date > wat do

It gives me this shit afer I pop it in a socket, every fucking time. Like it's installing a driver for the mouse, LIKE I HAVENT PLUGGED IT IN BEFORE.

It finishes the dl and nothing changes.

Might be a problem with the 'laser' under it for me it seems, shouldn't be a software issue. Tried adjusting the weights on it?

Had like the tiniest hair running straight over 1 of two sensor lenses. Wasn't even dusty or anything, just one piece of hair that I could barely see.

Removed it with a needle and it Works.
Still I dont get it why it worked on table and not on mousepad with a tiny hair blocking the lens.

Due to soft surface most likely :)
