Moving my lan/gaming rig to a new case & watercooling; fitted an EK Thermosphere to a KFA 750ti (low profile).
Had to cut a notch in the pcb to mount it, somehow I don't think the warranty will be good any more.

CURRENT PC BUILDS?

Post Your current Computer builds here (Feel free to rate/hate each others PC build  ;D)

So to start here is my current build and setup (You don't have to include as many pictures as I do)

Guardian ATX mid tower NZXT

Motherboard - ASRock H97M Pro4 LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

CPU- Intel i5-4400 3.10GHz

GPU- NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 770

Corsair Vengeance 4gb(x2) RAM - 8gb total

Seasonic 620W Power Supply

and... last but not least

Hard drive - currently have 3, 1 tb hard drives because I have tons of them, I hope to switch one of them out with an SSD

Cheap optical drive

as well as 3 LED (Blue) fans that help airflow

My computer was probably more expensive than it had to be but I got a 50% discount on my CPU and got free RAM because of a guy I know who works at Intel
and also I didn't have to purchase my case or black series Hard drive because I got it for Xmas and as I've said my other hard drives have been laying around...

And here's a picture of what my current setup at home looks like
ignore the wires just have a lot of things plugged in to charge

I like the slick black case you chose ;D, and so where did you try to save your money I tried to save as much as I could with a cheaper end case, and motherboard.

Getting my new PC tomorrow (or possibly tuesday) with a GTX 970, an i7-4790K, 240GB Kingston SSD and 8 GB Ram at 1866MHz.

Gl dude got some top of the line PC parts right there  ;) , I might upgrade in the future but I think this PC is pretty damn solid for what I do.

I cheaped out on PSU which isn't a good spot to try save money on l0l but it has lasted me fine and my max watt usage is around at ~430W so it's fine. Second spot I saved some money was on RAM, just pick the cheapest 1600MHz RAM you can find and it'll do just fine. Third spot I saved some money was the case, it cost around 50 euros :p

I also could have saved a bit on CPU and MBO too by buying Xeon CPU and based motherboard.

I have 8gb of kingston laying around but I think they are faulty I have to make it a point to send them back soon  :-\  also I was kinda going for the blue theme and when you try to them your PC

it costs more haha... but yeah for the most part that where I tried to save money too.  I got a Seasonic PSU which a higher end because hell I might just use that PSU for my next computer.

To be honest you're just fine with 500W 80+ gold PSU with any GPU that comes out due to TDP always getting lower and lower.

Approximately 4000-5000$, I presume. Although, if you're looking for something to game with, that really isn't a good one. It's a server build.

Since you picked a 970 as your GPU, I'd recommend a beefier CPU too, so you won't have to worry about bottlenecks.
Also, get a psu that is more than 500W, since that's the minimum for your picked GPU. Something like 600-700W.
The i5-4460 is a decent cpu, I wouldn't really go lower than quad-core with that graphics card.
i5 4690k would be the best choice for gaming, although you'd have to get a motherboard that supports overclocking. Then again, in your original build that you linked, you picked a motherboard that cost around 100 and you can get one that supports OC'ing for around that price too.
What exactly is your budget?

TDP for the 970 is only 145w though, the 500w minimum recommendation by Nvidia gives very generous headroom for power hungry components. As the 4460 only uses about 85w, a 500w PSU should be plenty even when including motherboard etc.

Since there is some empty space left, you could make it water proof and add an aquarium der :kappa:

Do you have some old leftover parts? I'm in need of an upgrade from my Dell Latituse E6510 laptop.

Watercooled dual cpu^?
Why not go for single cpu amd 16 cores 32 threads?

Here's mine cinebench test (single cpu, base clock speed)
